Awesomeness

You know those 'Yay' moments? well I'm having one right now :D

Well, I had the actual moment a few days ago, but I had a good day today so the actual 'moment'  has created the 'yay moment' of today... if that makes sense.

Well a few days ago me and my sister were getting ready for school and we put our bags in our little red KA and closed the boot. We then realised that...we had locked both sets of keys in the car. Dont ask me how, i dont even know, it must have been some sort of brain fart moment or something :P

Anywhoo, we realised after a while of freaking out that one of the doors nearest to the brick wall of our house was open. It wasnt a big enough gap to get in the car but we realised that, if we found a way to roll down the window that we could climb in and open the boot through the back seats.

We ummed and ahhhd about how to do it before becky (my sister) said, in a moment of pure genius

"Get a pole and something to pull it back up"

This was after i had tried and failed to open the window via a whisk attached to a hook. It was now lying inside the car.

Anywhoo, we grabbed a copper pole from the garage and a hook attatched to a stretchy cord. we then pushed and pulled the (luckily) manual window opener handle...thing. thank god it wasnt electric. then we would have been stuffed.

We managed to open the window and becky then lifted me up and pushed me through the window (dont worry, that was the plan, it wasnt like 'surprise! Jump in!') And i hit my face on the handbrake. and then my leg.

It was fun.

Anyway, we managed to open the boot and get our bags out in a triumphant moment of glory and painful leg bruises.

Mum (who was previously calling us 'idiots' for locking the keys in) was now almost rolling on the floor laughing at the story and gave me a hug.

Dads words were even more funny, he said 'Well, now you definitley belong here ( our town is a bit chavvy), you can break into cars!"

And that is what is making me laugh today, i hope it gave you a good giggle too.

Now onto eating some decidedly scrummy chocolate bon bons.

Yum.

Well, I guess i'd better talk some more :D

So, Today was fun. I had an english lesson and someone must have been pumping nitrous oxide gas into the room or something as, by the end of the lesson, all of us were in fits over...well i'm not actually sure what. I think it was just a nice day or something...yeah, that must be it.

The annoying thing about a blog is something normally has to happen to you each day that is worth making a blog post about, well...my life is boring. I literally wake up, go to school, come back, do some homework, eat food, sleep. And that wouldnt make a good blog post methinks.

So my creative writing course I have been taking is finishing soon, and I really want to replace it with something. It just gave me a chance to write with so many helpful ideas and people on hand to talk to.

Now onto my novel, I feel ideas spurting out of my head all the time and yet no actual writing has taken place yet... oh well, I guess the writing bug will strike when it strikes.

and, to channel Kiersten white:

Dear hot chocolate and mini marshmallows,

Please stop being so appetising, you are thwarting my attempt to get back to some sort of healthy eating regime.

Even if you are pink and fluffy and chocolatey, I shall eshcew you with a firm hand.

Sincerely, The drinker.

Okay...

So I've found out that being sick is so not number 1 on my favourite things to do list. (wait, does that make sense?) anyway, usually I like being home alone (well, with my sister) watching TV and being on my lappy-top (I am trying to find it a name, suggestions would be nice) but yesterday felt...well I can only describe it as being...horrible.

The only good news is I got to read a book I have been wanting to read for ages, but...some more bad news...It was really bad.

I read 'Need' by Carrie Jones. I have very little to say about it. Actually that's not true, I found the characters extreeemmely one dimensional, there was a jock, a 'weird' kid, a disabled character that you feel sympathy for, missing parents and a so called 'twist'. so all in all it 'sounds' good. The sad point was it never really came together. the entire book was all about the main character feeling 'sad and hollow' yet she flipped back and forth between happy with friends right back to sucky black hole crap. It seemed extremely unrealistic (is that a word?)

It ended with an extremely strange plot (her grandma turned out to be a tiger...yeah.) which tried to explain itself in about 3 sentences that I had to read about 50 times to sort of understand it. It ended too quickly with a 'solution' that I think anyone could have figured out in about ten minutes, and they go on about how 'special' the main character is for figuring it out! Yeah right.

And apparently there are two sequels. I guess I'll have to read them to see if they match up in ultimate crappy writing and plot, who knows, maybe she gets better with time...right.

Talk to you later people! (maybe its just me on here, but hey, I like talking to myself! )

First Blog Entry

Okay, so not a brilliant title but hey... I'm new to this.

The first thing I would like to say is hello. I'm glad you randomly wandered over to my post, and I'm also glad you haven't stopped reading. Now I'm not sure what to write about here, Maybe just random rants every so often, maybe about publishing my first book, maybe i might just forget about this and move on, but I hope not the latter.

So, that's about it for this tester, posts. Stay tuned to hear more actual nonsense coming out of my head, I hope it will be ten times better than this!

Good luck to me...
