The rest is still unwritten...

So, what has happened to me in the last  week or so?

I went to see 'Tangled' at the cinema and thought it was amazing! Pascal the chameleon was the cutest animal ever, and the script was so amazing, (how many times have i said that now?) It had slapstick for the kids and adult jokes for the parents (and me). Disney have yet again outdone themselves.

And to top off that night we had a... Japanese curry! It sounds strange but really its just chicken fried in panko breadcrumbs with sticky rice and japanese curry sauce. (which actually tastes like chip shop curry sauce)

But today i have less to do, so i am doing the washing and trying desperately to write.

I guess we'll have to see in the next blog post if i actually started to write anything.

till next time.

  1. Ah torikatsu one of my favourites. Did you go to Wagamama? When I last visited some friends in Paris we found ourselves in a Japanese diner. My friend's wife, who is a French cookery writer, could not believe that her husband was getting chip shop curry (curry rice) and I was getting breaded pork with brown sauce, more common than curry in Japan (tonkatsu). She thought it wasn't authentic. She took a lot of persuading

  2. yeah, normally we think that what we eat here is authentic food like indian curry and chinese food, but in reality the food we eat here is more the 'english' version of foreign foods, in reality indian curries are more interesting and aromatic (is that the right word?) rather than spicy.
